Jouney to Akshaya 

The most awaited day to meet my childhood inspirer narayanan krishnan from the past decade has came true on July 29th 2014.

Journey has started through sharma travels from Bangalore to Madurai on 28th night at 10'o clock . 

Reached Madurai at 7am in vellangudi and called to vidya mam who looks after akshaya ,she handed over call to  vinu and guided me to come to samaya nallur.

I met vinu in samaya nallur and he brought me to akshaya which is near nagatheertham around 25 kms from the main city.

I was eager to see Krishnan's cubicle.
Vinu took me to Krishnan's office
and was looking into the honourings given by CNN , RYTHM and rotary organizations and felt wonderful about his honourings.

Met vidya mam and she spoke about how she started in akshaya and edified vinu that he takes care lot of things like guides nursing staff , rescuing people in akshaya being of my age and being engineer.

Felt proud of him and mani  serving akshaya from more than 10 years.

I went to dining hall with vinu and had breakfast together.

He started explaining about akshaya.How he contributes to akshaya and saw Dining hall which served food for millions of people and storage room which is so clean and tidy, far better than our house kitchen.

Dormitory rooms and saloon which are so well maintained.

In saloon , Mental ill patients were sitting and waiting for their turn and all these things are being controlled by mental patients, which is been trained by vinu.

Laundry and they will warm their clothes and met physical fit guy named umesh kumar from mirzapur with employee gnan Sagar.

Vinu introduced me raghavan s who s a destitute.

He introduced himself and asked me where are you from in English and he's the first person to speak fluent among 320 people, got stunned from his fluency and great vocabulary.

He is a polyglot knowing 5 languages and he talked about his family.

He mimics the sound of train,  how boy baby and girl baby cries , and gave commentary and extremely talented old man who was sales representative.

He quoted two words
"Earlier I was in hell and now I am in heaven"
"The one who forgets help taken from others is not a human being".

Took small nap for one hour and came to office room.

Went to serve the meals for few staffs.
Master chef bala serving food to patients so generously and work through heart.

Later he talked about his family and showed the menu for the current week and again had been to inside kitchen everything was cleaned

Was started to write the blog from 3.15 pm and was thinking about the subject line and appropriate first sentence.

Started the subject as akshaya - helping the helpless.

And wrote around 100 lines within twenty minutes and listened to car sound...

I assumed it will be Krishnan's car and my guess was correct.

Krishnan was driving the car and andrew was there beside him.
Waited for so many years and much awaited dream came true.

Krishnan came and called "Amith how are you" that was the most memorable moment for me and felt some well known friend called my name.

He gave a hug which is of thunderous positive energy. Took blessings from him and he told will be back after his lunch.

Again started writing this blog.
I met him at 4.30 pm on face to face discussion with Krishnan sir.

Krishnan asked "how was the day"
I replied "its my dream day for me".
Spent his precious time with me and had couple of questions about my goals and got answers.
He asked his staff to drop me till bus stop to reach periyar bus stand.
And conveyed my wishes to Krishnan sir, vinu , andro and last but not least vidya mam.

Was not willing to leave that place.
Since it was inevitable I left the place.

Learnt so many few very minute things which I need to concentrate upon:-

1) Dedication, humbleness from Vinu , vidya.
2) Serving food for needy from Bala.
3) Skillfull people - Raghavan
4) Generous and talks to the point - Andrew
5) Man who is so loveable , down to the earth, thunderous of positive energy from Narayanan.
